RDC Maintenance Manager - Lowe's (Pittston, PA) in Scranton, Pennsylvania For Sale
Scope of Responsibilities: We are looking for a highly motivated servant leader to lead a department of Maintenance employees across 3 shifts. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the effectiveness and performance of the material handling equipment, infrastructure, grounds, vehicles, and operating systems of the RDC. The Maintenance Manger provides leadership to the management team on key facility operational issues, and develops and maintains facility expense and capital budgets. In addition, is responsible for selection, training and development of supervisors, mechanics and hourly team members for the Maintenance Department. Specific Duties: 1. Development and execution of regular preventive maintenance on all material handling and facilities equipment and assets. 2. Ensure appropriate safety and regulatory compliance in the condition and usage of all physical assets at the RDC. 3. Source suppliers and serve providers as required to support RDC operation in accordance with corporate purchasing and contracting. 4. Develop and implement capital projects to appropriately maintain equipment and improve RDC performance and productivity. 5. Maintain appropriate inventory of spare parts and equipment to serve RDC needs. 6. Ensures all Lowes policies and procedures are implemented and followed. 7. Ensures proper control of payroll and other assigned expenses. Demonstrated Skills and Experience: 1. High integrity, character, morals, and values 2. Strong leadership, organization and communication skills. 3. Five years of supervisory experience in a facilities maintenance organization 4. Management experience in an automated distribution facility with strong conveyor controls background is preferred. Intelligrated experience a plus. 5. Working knowledge of preventive maintenance scheduling programs, budget administration and OSHA regulations. Education: 4- year college degree or advanced technical training or equivalent work experience preferred
